Therapy Journey
At Lia Wei Speech Pathology, we offer a 15-minute free consultation over the phone. We will chat about your concerns and how we can support you. Once you are happy to proceed and provide your consent to our services, we will start the intake process.
Initial assessments help us define therapy needs. If you require an assessment report, a quote will be provided (optional). We may also reach out to your support circle to gather more information.
After understanding your therapy goals and expected therapy outcomes, therapy planning will be underway. We will discuss therapy frequency and additional supports required outside of therapy sessions. This is a non-face-to-face support.
We will deliver ongoing services in your environment (home, school, childcare, kindergarten, or community) as discussed and continue to monitor your therapy progress to ensure your are achieving your therapy goals. With settings operated / managed by a third party, you are responsible for obtaining consent from the organisation and facilitate communications between the organisation and the clinician for compliance and appointment queries.
We will re-examine your progress and compare the results from the initial assessment regularly. We may identify new therapy goals, or we may congratulate you on your achievement.
